What is an embellished print? We first created a series of four paintings without resin, with no metallic notes. We photographed them, then commissioned our fabulous studio mate, Marshall Vanderhoof, to print them on gorgeous cotton rag paper. The final step is to hand-apply metallic paint, so each print is different.
What's the point? Traditionally, printmaking helps lower the price to our collectors. So everyone can afford a Hill&Stump! We are printing them in two sizes: for 16x20 frames and 9x12 frames.
